DoGood Plate 140

Signature plate reverb sounds delivered through 20 high fidelity impulse responses IRs.

DoGood Sound captured these IRs from an original EMT 140 in excellent condition using high end converters. Introduced in 1957, the 140 Reverberation Unit is an electromechanical plate reverb system that became widely used as an alternative to spring reverbs and echo chambers. It was featured in countless studios and productions and played a significant role in shaping the characteristic plate sound later found in digital reverbs.

The plugin is designed for ease of use. Simply select an IR, adjust levels as desired, optionally filter low frequencies using the built in high pass filter, and start creating immediately.

Within the advanced settings, a Trails switch allows further control. When enabled, the reverb tail decays naturally after bypassing the plugin. When disabled, the tail stops instantly upon bypass.
