Cognate Hologram

Cognate Hologram – who says bass should always be mono?

A stereo spatialiser built specifically for bass, Hologram gives your signal width and movement without sacrificing low-end solidity.Choose from four classic mono-to-stereo methods, each with a distinct character, from subtle shimmer to lush and dense, vintage to modern.

Microshift combines fine pitch shifting with short delays for that thick, studio-double sound.

Dimension a homage to the Roland SDD-320's lush stereo spread; wide without obviously wobbling.

Hyper stacked unison voices in the style of Serum, dense and synth-like Doubler flanger-derived doubling inspired by the MXR Model 126, with an organic, BBD delay width.

Use the Depth control to dial up the effect, and the Modulation parameter to increase the movement and depth.

For when you need more, the Width control applies an additional carefully tuned mid/side process to enhance the stereo image even further.

Low Mono keeps the fundamentals anchored in the centre, and every mode collapses to mono cleanly — no phase cancellation, no frequencies disappearing in the mix.

Go beyond chorus. Still bass.
