Eden is an American bass amp brand, founded in Minnesota by David Nordschow. Through the 1990s and 2000s its heads and cabs were common with session and rock players who wanted a warm, full low end with plenty of detail on top. Its 4x10 cabs in particular became a standard choice.
On the Anagram, Eden gear appears as two built-in cab blocks. Darkglass does not name the sources, so both are likely, inferred from the names. "Garden of" is a play on the Garden of Eden.
Garden of 4x10 draws on the D410 cabinet, and Garden of 1x18 on the D118, a single 18-inch speaker cab.
The two do very different jobs. The 4x10 has a tight, punchy low end, a lot of midrange presence and a tweeter for top-end clarity. It is the all-rounder. The 1x18 is all about depth. A single large speaker moves a lot of air and gives a slow, heavy bottom end with less detail higher up.
Eden players often stacked the two, using the 18 for weight and the 4x10 for punch and clarity. On the Anagram you can get a similar result by running both cab blocks in parallel and balancing their levels.
Because these are cab blocks, they need an amp or preamp in front. They pair well with clean, modern heads, and with the SWR and EBS-inspired blocks.
Try Garden of 4x10 first, under whichever amp block you already like. Then add Garden of 1x18 in parallel if you want more weight under it.
